This is a reminder that we have a Burger Run/Cruise this Tuesday, July 26. The short cruise to Mondovi will depart from the Simmons home at 5:30. We will be headed to the McT’s restaurant for their classic car night. Give a call or email if you need directions to the Simmons house. Hope to see you all on Tuesday!

Twin Cities VW Club – Annual VW Show

Hello club members,

Just wanted to remind everyone that the Twin Cities VW Club is holding their annual VW show this Sunday. This is a free show and this year anyone that enters a car will be entered for a chance to win a 1974 Bug! There a few CVVC members that are going to meet in Menomonie to drive to the show together. Please join us this year for the Oktoberfest ALL GERMAN Car Show which is set for
Sun., Sept. 21 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. with drive-in starting at 10 a.m. We will once again be meeting at the Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds in Chippewa Falls. The show is part of the 3-day Oktoberfest weekend. Lots of great music and food. Car and driver get in free. Guest admission is $7. Kids are free. Ken Vance Car City World Auto Tour & Customer Appreciation Night

Hello Gang,
Just wanted to remind you of the event at Car City tomorrow night. Please try to attend with your VW’s if possible. They would like to have as many as our club cars as possible to go along with the new Volkswagen advertising campaign that features a black vintage Volkswagen Beetle. I am told that Car City may have a little something for all the club cars that attend. Car City has been our main supporter for a long time and now is the time to support them back. CVVC Fall Cruise Update and Reminder

Hello folks!

This is a reminder about the fall cruise tomorrow. We will be departing from Car City at 10:00 am. We will be cruising through the menomonie area from Eau Claire so if there is anyone from that area that wants to just catch up with the cruise there then let us know right away so that we can set up a meeting area. Hope to see everyone there. We will be meeting up with the Twin Cities VW club in Pepin for lunch and VW conversation. Lets show them just how grand the CVVC is.

This is to remind you that our club is participating in the Chippewa Falls Oktoberfest All German Car Show this Sunday from 11:00am-2:00pm. For more detailed info, refer to your last newsletter. The Okoberfest Car Show flyer was included with your #60 issue of the CVVC newsletter.

Please attend if you possibly can. The Oktoberfest organizers are really hoping to have a good turnout of our club.

ALSO: don’t forget that the following weekend is our annual Fall Color Cruise. We will be teaming up with the Twin Cities Club so lets show them how great the Wisconsin Vee Dubbers are!

Cruise will depart from Car City at 10:00 a.m. to our 1st destination at Moe’s Diner in Osseo, WI for a burger & then on to Rodfest in Strum to view som great classic cars as spectators. Hope to see you there!

This is just a reminder that we have a CVVC meeting tomorrow night at Jakes Supper Club in Menomonie at 6:00pm. Please attend if at all possible. We have always had a great time at Jakes so I am sure that it will be a fun time again. Great food and drink and VW

Just a small reminder that we have a club meeting tomorrow night at Connell’s II at the airport in Eau Claire at 6 p.m. Please bring your sponsor info. Anyone that recruited a sponsor for last year was suppose to contact that same sponsor again this year and if you were not able you were suppose to contact Larry or I. Since nobody contacted us we are assuming that everyone was able to help us out again this year with the same sponsor responsibilities and we greatly appreciate that.
