This is a reminder that we have a Burger Run/Cruise this Tuesday, July 26. The short cruise to Mondovi will depart from the Simmons home at 5:30. 1976 VW Westfalia For Sale

1976 Volkswagen Westfalia, 93.5k original miles, 2.0L FI 4 cylinder, also included is a German Herzog drive-away side tent. I have many other parts including spare fuel injection, louvered windows, used but good drive axles, extra fiberglass top, and a bike rack. I’m asking $12,000 obo.

Twin Cities VW Club – Annual VW Show

Just wanted to remind everyone that the Twin Cities VW Club is holding their annual VW show this Sunday. This is a free show and this year anyone that enters a car will be entered for a chance to win a 1974 Bug! There a few CVVC members that are going to meet in Menomonie to drive to the show together. First Volkwagen Cruise of 2011

Billy Joel buys a Beetle in Des Moines!

While in town for a concert, The Piano Man, Billie Joel stopped into a local Des Moines, IL car dealership. After casually chatting with the salesmen, he purchased a Volkswagen Beetle and hooked up the staff with tickets to the concert later that evening.

Ken Vance Car City World Auto Tour & Customer Appreciation Night

Just wanted to remind you of the event at Car City tomorrow night. Please try to attend with your VW’s if possible. They would like to have as many as our club cars as possible to go along with the new Volkswagen advertising campaign that features a black vintage Volkswagen Beetle. I am told that Car City may have a little something for all the club cars that attend. Car City has been our main supporter for a long time and now is the time to support them back. CVVC Fall Cruise Update and Reminder

Hello folks!

This is a reminder about the fall cruise tomorrow. We will be departing from Car City at 10:00 am. We will be cruising through the menomonie area from Eau Claire so if there is anyone from that area that wants to just catch up with the cruise there then let us know right away so that we can set up a meeting area. Hope to see everyone there. We will be meeting up with the Twin Cities VW club in Pepin for lunch and VW conversation. Lets show them just how grand the CVVC is.

This is to remind you that our club is participating in the Chippewa Falls Oktoberfest All German Car Show this Sunday from 11:00am-2:00pm. For more detailed info, refer to your last newsletter. The Okoberfest Car Show flyer was included with your #60 issue of the CVVC newsletter.

Please attend if you possibly can. The Oktoberfest organizers are really hoping to have a good turnout of our club.

ALSO: don’t forget that the following weekend is our annual Fall Color Cruise. We will be teaming up with the Twin Cities Club so lets show them how great the Wisconsin Vee Dubbers are!

This is to remind you that our club is participating in the Ridgeland Labor Day Parade. I am looking for a car count. Please email me and let me know if you plan on attending.

Also..I am looking for a car count for those that will be attending the Oktoberfest All German Car Show in Chippewa Falls on September 16th. Please email me and let me know if you are able to attend. The event planners are really looking for our participation.
